01 - Overview
AbroadWise
A guiding star for studying abroad
AbroadWise is an overseas education agency in Vietnam, helping students navigate international education with personalised guidance. Together with fellow designer Belle Mai, I developed a brand identity that brings knowledge, warmth and a sense of direction to that journey.

02 - Problem
Expertise students can feel comfortable turning to
Studying abroad is an ambitious decision, but it can also feel overwhelming. AbroadWise needed to stand out in a crowded consultancy market while communicating that it understood the person behind the application.
The brief was to balance authority with care: a knowledgeable partner that could make a complex journey feel more approachable.
03 - Process
Start with the person behind the ambition
Our audience research focused on detail-oriented, ambitious young adults seeking meaningful experiences overseas. Their emotional needs mattered alongside their practical questions.
Competitor analysis highlighted information overload, dated visuals and generic branding. These observations informed a direction centred on mindfulness, warmth and innovation, supported by a transparent, reassuring brand voice.
Give guidance a recognisable shape
The north star became a symbol of direction across the identity. The logo suite combines the AbroadWise wordmark with variations of the star, while the expressive “W” can stand alone as a graphic device.
Together, these elements give the brand a recognisable vocabulary for both small signatures and larger, more expressive compositions.

Balance confidence with warmth
The palette brings magenta and lavender together with soft pink, deep blue and a light beige. It gives the identity energy while leaving room for quieter, reassuring compositions.
The guidelines pair Lora for titles with Be Vietnam Pro for body copy and supporting text. This contrast carries the same balance of sophistication and approachability into the typography.

04 - Delivery
One identity, across everyday touchpoints
We extended the visual identity across stationery, envelopes, a shopping bag and social media layouts. The star, monogram, colour palette and typography connect these applications while allowing each format its own composition.
The brand guideline sheet brings the logo suite, colours, fonts and example assets together as a reference for future communications.
